Trouble with One Step iDVD

iMac G5 17" 80GB
Why cant I get one step iDVD to work. Didc is in and camera is connected, I see that it is through iMovie. When I hit create one step, I get a message saying to make sure camera is on and disc is inserted. Very frustrating....
