Macbook Pro on TV works as Dual Screen, not one.

Hi there, just a simple question.
How do i adjust my display on macbook Pro to just show on the TV, without using the display on the macbook.
Because atm it works as dual screen.

I believe you can just mirror the displays

You can do this by going to Apple Logo > Displays > Arrangement > Mirror Displays.

I assume you want to close the lid on your macbook and just use your TV?
You might need a app called caffeine to stop it from sleeping when you close the lid - here is a link Lighthead - Caffeine

No need for another app, just dim the display on the MacBook and leave it open.

thanks, i ll give it a go :>
cant see the display option but i suppose it comes up when i connect it to the tv?
