Each member can post one photograph in this thread each month.
The desktop cannot be larger than 800x600.
Not only will posting inappropriate pictures get them deleted, it will also get you banned. This includes anything semi-lewd. This is a family forum if it's not PG then don't post it.

This was taken somewhere in the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks.
The weather was fantastic when we were there. And the parks were really great too. Wish I could go back.

Not taken in October strictly speaking, but I hope you'll indulge me since I haven't posted in a while :)

I took this on the HMS Belfast in London and then added a few filters with CameraBag (which is pretty useful! Shameless review plug: Review: CameraBag Desktop (http://bit.ly/n9KuO))

I really like the cool and warm lighting you have going on. It really turns the form and makes the bottle look three dimensional.

I don't see where any of your images were removed, but if they were the rules of this thread clearly state:

* Each member can post one photograph in this thread each month.
* The desktop cannot be larger than 800x600.
* Not only will posting inappropriate pictures get them deleted, it will also get you banned. This includes anything semi-lewd. This is a family forum if it's not PG then don't post it.
If they didn't meet those guidelines, then they would have been removed.

The details of the shot. See my picture above to see what I mean.

In iPhoto, you select a picture and then choose 'Show Extended Photo Info' under the Photos menu. You'll see a bunch of information that the camera wrote with the picture.

By the way, your images were not removed. I see both of them and liked the first one. You have now violated the rule of 1 per month. ;)

Just a random shot I took a couple weeks ago with my Canon Powershot 880. Some random people overlooking the Ohio River.

I cropped the photo and boosted the color a little in iPhoto, then scaled it down with Seashore, which kinda killed the resolution.

This is a piece of a monumental drawbridge on the left, in the city where I live... and one tower of the northcity gate, where the soldiers would keep watch, in the medieval days.

Last day and nothing to show, so here's one taken on a camera phone of Hever Castle, last weekend.

I make no apologies for quality as it's a lovely place and it was a nice autumn day...

Thanks. Just hopped the fence to get that shot ;) I have many more taken from that day that I really like. But the road I took that on is strangely busy, so I was trying not to get run over in the process ;D
