I'm in Big Trouble with MP3 player

I've done it now.

I have a friends Mp3 player a - Samsung YP-MT6. I managed to delete all her files. I have NO idea how I did it. I used the USB and viewed the hard drive on the Mac, but there are no files. Any way I can undo what I did?

Are they all gone for sure, or just not showing when you plug it into the Mac?

Well, before I did the deed, the files showed up on the Mac desktop, now they don't. Gulp!

And if you unplug it and play there's nothing?
Check your trash if you haven't emptied it since you first connected the player.
