Hi all

I have an external HD I use as my Time Machine.
If I take my Time Machine and plug it into another PC or Mac, am I able to view the contents on the HD?

Will it affect any of my data?

Thanks in advance.

Another Mac - Yes

A Win based machine - only if you have a 3rd party app that will allow windows to read HFS+ volumes

No, just viewing the contents of the drive will not affect the data.
