Each member can post one photograph in this thread each month.
The desktop cannot be larger than 800x600.
Not only will posting inappropriate pictures get them deleted, it will also get you banned. This includes anything semi-lewd. This is a family forum if it's not PG then don't post it.

Nice shot! Reminds me of early morning :D
Seriously though, good perspective, nice depth of field. Can you put some specs up (shutter speed, f~stop etc)? Cheers.

You can see the Metadata of this or any other image on Flickr unless that's been removed by the user (or software)

In this case you can see all the settings I used for this shot here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ajwrightuk/3855763454/meta/)

The image was actually two exposures stitched together. Even at 18mm I couldn't get the whole thing in one exposure from the distance I was from the tower.

Thanks for that. I didn't click the link to the larger pic, so didn't see the data.

Don't know if I ever posted this before, but considering its 8 years since 9/11 I thought I would stick it up anyway....

I don't usually partake in photography simply because any mix of me and art is usually a disaster. Nonetheless, while out searching for a good bike path today, I came across an outlook that overlooks the Ottawa River, with Parliament Hill (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parliament_Hill) on the left and the Supreme Court on the right. I thought it looked pretty neat so I took a picture. Again, I'm not a pro or even a photography hobbyist and this was with a digital camera. Go easy on me. :)

Not that great, I know, I just thought it made a nice change from constant photos of scenery and vehicles:

This was in Wrightwood, CA on 29/08/09 with a Canon EOS 350D w/ a Canon EF-S 18-55mm.

Since I mainly shoot sports, I got this one on Saturday doing a local High School football game. This young man (one of the premier running backs in the conference) broke loose for an 85 yard TD run.

I like the baby shot Chris, very touching. :)

My Bromelliads are placed outdoors each summer. As we haven't really had a summer they thought it was Autumn so went into "Save me" mode, time to regenerate. The white tips are approximately 1 mm across.
Camera P&S Olympus SP-590UZ in Macro mode, hand held.

took a 2 hour drive to the beach earlier today, and happened to catch the sun setting over the water, got a few silhouettes in, since I didn't have my flash with me :/ this was my favourite out of the bunch.

Made a trip to Rome and here are 2 snaps of Fontana de trivi

it's amazing where this fountain is situated, it's hidden and right in the middle of shops and buildings..you would usually expect it to have it's own dedicated open space, but nope! and somehow it works brilliantly!
