folks here is my setup

mac mini with lacie xternal Hd
&
iMac

here is my question can i just plug the lacie into my Imac and start using the filies currently on there ??

if not, wht do i need to do in order to use those files on my Imac

As long as you have the driver installed for the HD, it should work without any other interference needed.
