Connect it to another monitor?

Hi,

I'm trying to connect my macbook pro 15" to another computer monitor (touch), it works perfectly but my macbook resolution becomes strange with lots of unfocus even when i put the right resolution, this only happens when i have the other monitor connect.

I need to use the function "multiple monitors" and i'd like to know how can i have both monitors connect this way of "multiple monitors" but with the macbook looking great, even if the other monitor don't look good

Most LCD monitors have a "native" resolution...which basically means the optimum resolution for picture quality. When you change or deviate from that resolution, the monitor has to make adjustments to make things work...and this causes a decrease in picture quality.

If you can, keep your laptops display at it's native resolution for best picture quality.

And the lcd monitor really needs to have that resolution?

I just wanted to have my mac with 100% resolution and the monitor with poor resolution but working.

Where can i adjust this?

 > System Preferences > Displays. A box should show up on both screens, letting you change the resolution for each monitor.

There will be two windows open - one for your Mac and one for the external display.

Set each one of them to the native display of the corresponding monitor.
