corrupt mini sd card

I have a samsung instinct phone with a corrupt mini sd card. It appears as though I have lost all of my music, video and pictures. i am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a 3rd party recovery program that would work well on my new mac laptop? I can connect the card to the laptop but it just appears blank. any help is appreciated

I don't know of anything designed for OS X that can recover your data from the SD card. However, all is not lost if you have access to a Windows machine. If you do, I suggest trying the following program: Link

It's called "Bad Copy Pro" and you can download their trial version first to see if it can recover your data off the SD. If it can, the data will be displayed in the recovery box - but you must first register the program ($39.50) before it will save the recovered files.

I just used this program to recover over 100 valuable photos from a CD that had an overwritten TOC. I was able to recover everything in a matter of minutes. The program works on Smart Media, DVDs, CDs. etc.
