Good Evening! Cable for MAC BOOK PRO to HDTV please!

Can you be so kind as to send me a link or product # for this cable to connect my Mac Book Pro to HD TV.. does it connect to component? or how to the TV and which port on my laptop does it go from? Very Kind Regards. Maybe I can get a generic cable as well so I dont have to buy the usually expensive Apple one?.. cheers!
