G4 Cube
I jsut got a G4 cube for home recording. I am having a problem with the USB. It is a USB 1.1 and I will need to run the USB powered speakers, the usb powered keyboard, an external hard drive (yet to be purchased), and my usb powered audio interface. If i plug the speakers into the keyboard i am told that i am draining to much power. Idk if a hub would solve this

Don't plug anything but your mouse into the keyboard as there is insufficient power. The cube has USB1 which will be pretty slow for an external drive ~ Firewire would be much better and would also be bootable. USB, even USB2 generally will not boot a PPC machine from an external HDD.

You might keep an eye out for a mains powered multi-port USB hub which will assist.
