Burning backup DVDs in Win XP (bootcamp)

I'm a new mac user. I just got my first mac about 3 wks ago, and our neighbor helped me use bootcamp to put windows xp on it. Now I have some files/folders on my windows partition that I'd like to back up on a blank DVD. How do I burn backup stuff onto a blank DVD? Could you please write me a step-by-step guide on how to do this?

Just use any good burning software in Windows. Ashampoo Burning Studio has a free version that includes a backup program to DVD or even an external hard drive. Likewise for Nero, except that Nero isn't free.
