I type 1000 a lot

Second day and I'm loving my mac all the more. I use various websites and frequently need to type the same number into these websites. - 1000. Is it possible to change one of the F keys to a number? Would save me countless keystrokes a day if I could do this.

Might sound silly but would be really useful to me

I dont think you can preset a number like that, but how about copying the number 1000 and using Apple key + V to paste it everytime its needed?
