I check the rumor websites every other day, and I haven't read anything about special edition iPods in the works. But you should definitely check out the rumor websites, because that is where you would find the latest news about what you want to find out.

Okay thanks! Did the U2 iPods sell well? If I had to choose between a U2 iPod and an iPod photo I would pick the photo..it's a color screen..lol can't compare man

I think they will come out with some more special editions, but they will be far and few in between.. it would be worth it to Apple since there are collectors out there that want every single iPod Apple makes.. thus as long as they do not make a lot of them.. i could definitely see it as a trend, maybe every other year or so.

My friend just got the U2 iPod..wow it's so nice..it makes me re-think my decision to go with the green mini..)= gwen stefani had her ipod like crystalized..pretty cool..for a ladie (=

Well at the store I work at the U2 iPods don't sell at all...
But I think it was really just intended to generate news for both parties (U2's new album was hyped and apple's "cool" image was enhanced).

We're actually not even allowed to show the U2-silhouette commercial anymore, there was a time limit on how long apple could use it, and if we were to show it in the store we could be sued by u2...
