Olympus raises the bar

Olympus launched their new micro 4/3 camera recently. It's about the size of a regular point+shoot but with all the SLR features.

Like the Canon G series, with a slightly larger sensor.

Yeah, it looks like a cute camera, but you really need to already be invested in the micro 4/3 format or a new dslr buyer, it'd suck for someone with nikon or canon gear to have to buy a bunch of new lenses.

I don't know about cute...but yeah you are right about the lenses.

i think it's really cute, specially the white one:

it would be an awesome alternative (weight-wise) to full-sized SLRs when you just want to go around taking pictures.

of course in this scenario you're also very rich. :Smirk:

That word is not in my vocabulary when I'm describing an object. I only use that to describe a person.

I would say that it's chic, and stunning.
