I miss the old days with my Pink iPod Mini. :[ :D

This was my first apple product and my first iPod. I was so excited when I ordered this online at the Apple Store. I was even more excited when it was supposed to arrive, I got up early to wait for FedEx to come. lol

That sure is a cool box. But the iPod mini screen is too small, but I guess that's why they called it the "mini"

Yeah the mini is old technology now. Mine doesn't turn on anymore.

I'm starting to dislike my own iPod (I'm old fashioned, I have a 3rd gen. Nano :p ). The click wheel is just so darn sensitive! If I go to click the album "Mothership" I'll end up clicking "Presence"- all before I even notice it. It is so annoying, and I'm not quite into investing in an iPod touch yet. Oh well, I'll have to cope with it.

Way... way too many specs to list.

My blue one still does :D

Over all, my shuffle gets the most use and that has no screen

Still have my 2G blue mini. It's a backup iPod for when my Touch's battery is dead and I don't have the time to charge it. Although it's definitely on its last leg - pressing on the top or bottom of the mini, (in addition to the "Play" part of the clickwheel) too hard will result in a complete reset of the machine - do this three or four times, and your battery will be "dead'. That, and every now and then I get the sad iPod face when turning it on.

But it keeps on living. :D The mini's really were great iPods.

My g/f has the same model. I got it for her for her 18th birthday. She still loves it to pieces. I guess it's because it's pink.

I asked her countless times if she wants a new one but she refuses for me to buy her a new iPod. >_>"

I have a 4gb Silver Mini with the original box kickin' around some where.. It doesn't work properly. It powers on to the Apple symbol, but that's it.

My 4 GB mini still works. I got a 3G nano when they came out only because I thought it was time that I switched to an iPod with a colour screen.

My Silver 1st generation iPod Mini 4GB still works! I put in a new battery a year ago and gave it to my favorite Niece for christmas. She loves it and it's still working for her a year later.

Also my g3 iPod 10GB still works like new. The 10GB hard drive died a while ago and I put in a 20GB and it's back working fine again.

My husband still uses the silver iPod mini I gave him several years ago. It works just fine.

Sooper Fast!
my first gen video eventually got to the point where it would only play through one speaker in my car. I have a Kenwood touch screen with iPod control and the connections on the bottom of the iPod ended up being faulty.

Just bought a new 120gb classic. It went from syncing the 30gb's or so of music that I have straight into the glove box and doesn't see the light of day unless I get new music. It's like a little slave, tossed into the dungeon to play music for my pleasure....er....Silence of the Lambs anyone?

It puts the August Burns Red on the Radio!

My first gen Silver mini still works, but the display is all borked. You can sort of read it, but it's messed up. Menus and clickwheel still works, and it's battery is still strong. Plays music very well, but I think when my wife owned it there were a few too many treadmill bounces from her workouts.

I now use it as a largish high capacity thumbdrive. My 30Gig 5th gen video is used as my workhorse music player with fm transmitter in the car, but since getting Sirius XM it's not used much for that.
