It's been pretty bad around the north San Antonio area. Many days with record breaking heat. Can only imagine what it's like down there.

It's been in the 100's and high 90's in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area.
Something to do with a high pressure area over us. Supposed to get rain the next few days. Might help.
With our humidity this heat is really wearing me down.

Tyler has had either close to or over 100 degree days since the middle of June. That is after an unusual and very cool first two weeks of June. I noticed on a trip last week that all (and I mean ALL) the crops from about Palestine to Austin down highway 79 are totally brown and burned up.

July 5. Finally one inch of rain and cool weather in the upper 80s.
