Hello....
We are having some issues with permissions on new files created on an imac.
We are on OS X 10.4.11.

Basically there are 4 macs linked via ethernet. On one mac there is an external drive that we all link to, this holds all our jobs and we all work from this.

When a new file is created on one mac (quark document/photoshop file etc) the file cannot be retrieved for the external hardrive onto another mac to be worked on....unless you manually change the permissons to read and write.

I can change all the permissions on the extrenal drive globally after the files have been created bu this is not ideal as files go back and forth all the time.

Is there a way to automatically make all new files created have the permissions read and write?

Thanks in advance!
