so i have a hard drive...

i just got a 250gb hard drive for free from my friend but i have no idea what to do with it. i have a powerbook and the hard drive is a 3.5" sata-i think, the connectors on the back are flat and sticking out. is there a way to make the sata into an ata and put it in my g4 tower? can i get an enclosure and use it as a time machine.

Get an hard drive enclosure from newegg or someplace else..., put your drive into that. Connect it to your Mac with a USB cable and use it as a time machine backup disk
