Question about Apple's 14-day return policy

Hi guys,

I'm not from the US, but wanted to ask about the 14-day return policy in other countries. Does it only apply to products bought from the Apple store? If you purchase a Macbook from an authorised retailer, do you still have that 14-day return option?

I called Apple in my country, and they insisted that I have to take my macbook back to the store I bought from to get a refund. However, the store is not willing to exchange anything unless the item is defective. My item is not defective, but I'm willing to pay the 10% restocking fee. But it seems I can't even do that.

I think you would have to return it to the place you purchased it from.
