Image a Windows computer to run in Boot Camp?

I have to carry a PC for work. Like most corporate Lenovos, it sucks; but, I have to carry it. So I was wondering, could I image the HDD of the Windows paperweight and run that as my Windows partition? Then, I could just carry my Mac Book, leave the IBM machine on a shelf, and not have as many day to day issues - except when I have to connect to my network form the Windows partition. Would that work? DO I need to find a 17 year-old hacker to do this for me?

Yes and No. The hardware difference alone would cause more problems then you would want.

Not to mention that fact that this would be a violation of your Windows license and be considered piracy. Which makes the subject off-limits.
