I have to carry a PC for work. Like most corporate Lenovos, it sucks; but, I have to carry it. So I was wondering, could I image the HDD of the Windows paperweight and run that as my Windows partition? Then, I could just carry my Mac Book, leave the IBM machine on a shelf, and not have as many day to day issues - except when I have to connect to my network form the Windows partition. Would that work? DO I need to find a 17 year-old hacker to do this for me? :)

Yes and No. The hardware difference alone would cause more problems then you would want.

Not to mention that fact that this would be a violation of your Windows license and be considered piracy. Which makes the subject off-limits.
