Is surround sound with Airtunes possible?

Ok, I kind of have a series of questions, as I pretty much know nothing when it comes to audio. I currently am using an Airport Express to stream music to my Pioneer VSX-D812 receiver. I also use the Vuze program to stream video through my xbox 360. My questions are as follows:

1. Is it possible to set up surround sound through Airtunes? If so, how would I go about doing that. What kind of cables would I need to connect from my Airport to my receiver?

2. If it isn't possible to do surround sound through airtunes, is there anyway to just make the same sound come out of 5 different speakers (2 front, center, and 2 in the back)?

3. Is there any way to stream my videos through Vuze in surround sound? If so, how is this possible.

Any help is appreciated...

On the Airport side, you need an optical cable with a 3.5 mm jack (normally what you use on analog cables). On the receiver side, you'll need the connector with the more typical fiber optic connector (toslink). I do believe a cable like the one below will do. The connector flips over so you can use it with either type of connection.

Aside from that cable above (which quite frankly might be prone to failure with those swinging pieces), you can search for a cable that has the right connector on each end. Below is an example... scroll down to "3.5mm to Toslink Cables". Those, or any other cable elsewhere with that same description, should work.

As for Vuze, assuming it supports 5.1 surround sound in the software, then you can probably use Airfoil to send the audio to the Airport Express.
