Most PC games aren't programmed to take advantage of DP, is it the same for Mac OS?

depends, with panther and even more so with tiger Processing is evenly distributed over both chips. So of course with the OS distributing cycles it will improve the game playability. As for games being programmed for duals, yeah not many.
