I don't really know where else to put this, but recently my iTunes hasn't been connecting to the iTunes store. I get an error message that says "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again."

First, I tried through my school's wireless, then I connected to the internet through an ethernet cord, and afterwards I went home and went on my internet connection there.

None of these would allow my iTunes to connect to the store.

Is your firewall configured correctly to allow iTunes to open connections?

Not sure. Do you have a software firewall or hardware firewall or both?

if you have it set at the bottom option you will need to designate iTunes to have access through the firewall. If you don't it'll never connect.

My firewall is set to "Allow all incoming connections"

Any other suggestions?

That only led me to find out that it's not letting me check for any Software Updates either.
