I am not sure if the following is possible, but if it is, it would make life much easier...
I have recently shot an interview which is about 30 minutes long.
Am using 3 camera angles, but only 1 is using the sound I need.
Now.
In an ideal world, I can line up 3 pieces of film in FCP (version 5.1) over eachother and cut away/overlap the clips I would like to use when I wish to do cutaways.
but just use the 1 audio track.
Is there a way of doing this without rendering 3 massive 30 minute clips all at once (which could take until Xmas?)
Or can anybody offer any advice as to the most economical way of editing this type of project?
