Thanks mate!

Basically I take 1000 photos an hour and hope 3 of them are alright :P

I did get really lucky here though, very tame squirrel looking for a spot of food.. Could have been better if we had some :|

Haven't taken many shots this month, but this is what I have. The effect of looking through the net is interesting to me. Notice the Squid on the ice on the right:

Not a technically correct image, but it was from one of biggest life changing days of my life.

Oh wow that's a very beautiful picture, even though the subject mater is rather sad. T_T"

Very film noir and I love the contrast and the interesting focal point. I like the repetition that is happening in the trees, and in the grave stones. Compositionally it's a little boring because focal point is almost dead center.

Thank you Crimson, I just wanted to share an Image from one of the worst days of my life. But you are spot on about the centered composition, I just was not thinking clearly as a photographer that day.

Can't really blame yourself for that especially since your mind is elsewhere. I just do a lot of critiquing in my painting classes, and my design teacher is always pushing composition. It kinds of sticking now. >_<"

No problem man, critiquing is one of the best ways to learn and better yourself.

The purpose of this image was to convey the sorrow of the day through the use of the tree's, tombstones and the slow somber stride of the woman. I used a high contrast BW conversion action to help put a feeling of pain into the image.

Just in case anyone is wondering, this image was taken at Arlington Nation Cemetery the day my grandfather was laid to rest. This type of photography is not my norm, it is way outside my comfort zone and just wanted to see if I could convey my feelings though this image.

Oh nit picking again. >_<" Sorry but found something a little distracting while looking at it again. What is behind the lady? It looks like a tent? Then there is a dark object undead neath that. It blends into the woman and creates a tangent.

That would be the tent that covered my grandfathers casket/burial site. That was intentional.

Well I bet it more visible in the actual photograph it was kind of small and hard to make out. >_<"

LoL indeed it is, small low res images suck. But the original retouched image is 14mb, so I can't host it.

lol, all those pics are from a recent holiday in Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest (UK). The squirrels were more than happy to pose for the camera as did many of the animals I encountered! lol

That's a really nice image. I absolutely adore the colors and the dark silhouette clouds.

I went outside one day and just started shooting. Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 8 Megapixel camera, High Sensitivity mode, flash and vivid color setting. No computer editing done.

Also, I think I'm seeing a little noise in the picture. Am I going crazy?

I think this image has a very strong narration. Even if the photographer didn't tell us what this is about I believe that we can come up with our own story.

I sort of like looking at pictures and artwork this way because it makes it more personal. Although having the artists' spiel is nice too. ^-^"

Oh and thanks for commenting on my picture. That was totally random, I don't even remember why I took that picture or when. I usually do most of my photography around dusk though, and I got lucky with those outrageous colors.

Ahh sorry, I'm useless at commenting on my pictures. I'm not a good writer.

Basically I was asked to shoot a wedding for a friend, I did it as a gift, and this was one of the shots that I was happy with. The Bride's mum was checking the placement of the flowers in her hair, I saw the look of the Bride and snapped the picture. I just really love the expression on her face. :)
