Well, we knew it would happen,the Mac Mini we have been using as a file and print server died. It was a first gen and pretty much always a piece of crap. So now we must replace it.
As we do web design we have been looking into a new PC to use for a testing machine as the one we have is about 7 years old.
So we thought maybe we could kill 2 birds with one stone and buy a PC and use it as a file server AND a testing machine.
Can someone point me to a reference on using the PC as a file and print server or do you have any advice on doing this?
We are running OS 10.4.11 on the 2 macs it would be serving files and printing from. The printer is a Canon ip6700D.
