Hello!

I have a bunch of DVDs that I want to put in my PS3 hard drive (80gb).

By what I have read, I need to rip them in my computer and transfer them to a external hard drive and then put them in the PS3.

(here comes my first doubt: I found a bunch of programs to stream videos to the PS3, like Azureus. If I stream to the PS3, and then ask for the PS3 to "copy" the movie, will that work fine? Will I have the same quality as the original DVD?)

So what I have is:

- bunch of DVDs

- macbook pro (OS X 10.5.6)

- PS3 80gbs

- a WiFi network, with both PS3 and MBP connected to it

- 250 gbs empty external hard drive formatted to FAT32

and here's my first problem, because every tutorial I found told me the HD should be formatted to NTFS, but by what I understood, macs can't write to NTFS!

Could anyone please point me in the right direction? I want to get rid of all these physical DVDs!

Thanks bobtomay. Unfortunately, we don't permit discussion of DVD ripping here.
