My friend/neighbor shares his internet connection with me. We both have MacBooks (both are <1yr old, mine is aluminum his is white..in case it matters, also he's not having this problem)
His network doesn't broadcast and he's using WPA2 personal security. My macbook remembers his network and connects to it but until I go through the network diagnostics and re-enter all the information it won't connect to the internet.
I have gone into the network settings and verified that the password is correct and the network is saved in my list. Even though I have a work around it is so irritating to have to go through and re-enter the network name and password every time the computer restarts, wakes up or comes out of the screen saver.
I think I covered it all, any ideas please!!!
