You know, because I have nothing better to do on a Friday night...

Well, I can never leave well enough alone, so I decided to paint my guitar.

I returned my winter sandbags and got $17, which was enough to pick up some high-end spray paint from my store.

Then, I headed to my buddy's heated garage and got sprayin.



Painted the body Satin White



Painted the pickguard Satin Black (There's a gouge in it that I couldn't buff out. )



And I painted the entire neck, sans fretboard, Satin White as well.

I can't wait until I get back tomorrow when everything is dry.

Sick! Good job man! Can't wait to see when it's done. Is it a Fender or Squier?

Keep us posted on how it turns out. I wonder how the neck will feel painted? Was it painted stock? Been a while since I messed with a Squire Strat. Looks interesting!

Dtravis7: The neck wasn't painted stock, but it was dry before I left last night, and it really didn't feel much different than it does without paint, probably because I used satin finish.

I got to pick it up around 12 or 1 today. Then I get to reassemble it.

Awesome! It looks good so far.. I've always wanted a P-Bass in white, with black pickguard.. It looks hot, and I'm sure this will too once it's done.

Didn't come out as well as I'd hoped (quite a few imperfections), but I'm still content with it.

I like the Pecan Satin one. But, the new paint job turned out nicer than you seem to think!

gotta post my strat and my tele. The strat was a Squier but redone, and the tele was made from a blood and sweat.

Here is my pride and glory, still need to get it buffed up but it ate up about 3 months of my time.
