Should I fully recharge the battery before turning it on?

SOON a Macbook Pro 15-inch unibody.
Hi,

I ordered my delicious Macbook Pro 15" (the biggest of them) Monday, and will be receiving it tomorrow or Friday.

So, I am thinking about if I should fully recharge the battery before turning it on for the first time? If I turn it on with a "flat" battery, wouldn't that affect the overall battery-life in the future?

The manual that will come with your MBP has specific instructions on when to turn it on for the first time. I suggest reading the manual thoroughly before doing anything else.
