This photo was taken last month, but I only just discovered it today when going through my RAW's in bridge! I originally thought it was too dark to do anything with but I managed to bring the levels up and tweak the colours a little to make it look something like.

Great job!! Vassar College is about 30 miles south of me, if this one is the one in New York?

Again, great job Sabathius, and everyone else, too!

I expect to have mine up by Tuesday. I'm going to Washington D.C. from Saturday to Monday for spring break. I hope I get some nice photos... this week is cherry blossom week.

It was hard choosing from 3 different photos I took in Washington! I liked them all!

I decided on this one, however, because I love the lightning.

as you might be able to tell, it was cherry blossom week in D.C. It was incredibly beautiful! The building in the background is the Washington Monument.

A lovely shot! I especially like how the Washington Monument draws the eye up to the sun burst, then through to the cherry blossom.

well done :)

Awesome macro! Is that ice? Only the pattern in it almost looks man/machine made like a bead or something.

Thanks, the photo was taken using macro, it's a wierd stump of blossom coming straight off the tree trunk.
The quote - out of my head and just about sums up my computer skills

Nice catch! I like the use of long exposure to get the streaking effect. Did you use an ND filter on this one?

I didnt use any filters... ISO 100, Fstop 22, and shutter speed of 5 I think. It was a cloudy day so I didnt have to deal with the harsh sunshine

Thanks for the comments

Thats quite nice, but, however, the focus feels a bit soft. I do like this though!

I have not been on this forum for awhile and I saw this post. So I decided post one of my favorite images I have taken lately. The young man is Josh Serne and he is 10 years old and loves roadracing what you do not see in this image is that he has been battling Cystic Fibrosis since he was diagnosed with it at the age of 2. This disease has not slowed him down one bit as he won 6 Championships last year in two different series. He is going for 6 more this year. This is what I call Heart&Determination. To see more of Josh please check out his website here Team65 - Josh Serne (http://www.team65.net)
