Browsing slower than Downloading.

I'm just wondering if any can anwser this question, when i download music or whatever i get my full download speed it works great,but when im browsing its extremly slower ,i was wondering if maybe there was a simple fix to this,by the way ive been using my ibook without a firewall for quite a while i just found out theres one by reading info on this site so thanks for that.

People think that Safari is a bit slower, and so do I. The two faster browsers in my opinion are Camino and Firefox.
