On order

Just wondered if anyone has used the LaCie d2 dvd RW with lightscribe and, if so, is it worth paying the extra for this facility or not.
Many thanks, Paul.
I just ordered it, est. arrival is late Feb/early March. I got mine directly from LaCie, although I'm sure it could be offered less elsewhere, I think $199 is justifiable, especially for Dual Layer DVD burning (2x?), and single layer at 16x.
I've seen pictures of a lightscribe labeled disc, it looks like a perfect greyscale image, but I'll report on what it looks like when it arrives.
I bought a 30-pack of LightScribe CD-R's from Best Buy for $18, didn't think that was bad. Couldn't find any DVD-R/RW's so I couldn't say what they cost. They are supposed to be (for CD-R's at least) 6 to 10 cents a piece more than regular CD-R's. Can't say for certain on the DVD version.
I noticed the PC version was $179, but that didn't include FireWire, OR bundled software (the Mac version DOES have FW, and it comes with Toast Titanium). Both versions come with the LightScribe labeling software.
