How to record Voice

Hey guys,
Could someone tell me how to use my internal onboard mic to record myself talking? I am going to record me reading some chapters of a book for finals and then put that into itunes, and then put it on my ipod so I can have it while I am in the car... just another way to be studying I guess.
Any help is greatly appreciated

You can record yourself through garageband and then export to itunes.

thanks for the quick help, but actually i just did it with quicktime by doing file-new audio record...
