Have you installed the proper video drivers for you card in Windows? Usually when something like this happens, it is due to either no drivers installed or a corrupted install of the drivers.

Vansmith is correct. The drivers that Apple provides with Boot Camp are "adequate" to get you started and running, but there is no reason whatsoever to not upgrade to the latest and greatest drivers direct from nVidia or ATI.

okay, one of the games is nVidia so I'll upgrade it like that. Just go to their website I presume?

Go to the website of whoever makes the graphics card in your iMac, not who makes the game. I thought iMacs had ATI graphic cards... check "About This Mac" from your Apple menu to be sure.

All current Macs use nVidia graphics. Only the iMac and Mac Pro can be ordered with ATI cards.

Cheers
