Is there a performance/speed difference in a raid drive that is configured for JBOD verses 2 separate drives daisy chained together? All of the drives would be 7200 and FW800.
In either case, all of the information is being sent down 1 fw800 cable so it would seem that it doesn't matter. Is this accurate?
What if you had a raid drive as raid 0 and you had another drive daisy chained to it. Would that change the performance/speed?
