no google but everything else?

Okay, I'm baffled. My macbook connects using airport as I expect... BUT when I try to connect to google or gmail or even yahoo I get a network down error and it wont connect. I can connect to apple or USAtoday even craigslist but google and gmail are always an error. I know they aren't down and if I use bootcamp I can connect to those site in Windows... Anyone have a clue what is wrong here? I'm getting to the point I just using windows and tossing Leopard.
