A friend has a website made on a Macintosh. It is for advertising.

It can be found on Google but can no longer be viewed by clicking the link. It now asks for a username and password. Now no one can see the site.

Any ideas how to get rid of the username and password requirements?

He hosts with Go Daddy. If more details are necessary, I can ask him.

Thanks.

Maybe check the .htaccess file.

Yeah, sounds like there was password protection put on accidentally. There is probably a .htaccess file in the sites main directory (www or public_html) or he has added password protection to that directory in his control panel (if they have one)
