Before I found the VM option I had previously successfully installed XP into a partition using Bootcamp.

Now I have installed Virtualbox and would like to use the existing XP code on the partition for setting up the windows VM. Virtualware wants a CD/DVD or floppy to do a new install of XP. This is a huge time waster for me if there is an option.

Is this possible?

Thanks for any and all help.

I don't believe that option is available when using Virtual Box. At least not in the current version that I'm familiar with. You can do that with either Parallels or Fusion though.

For the latest info on VB see this Link.

Regards.

Thanks chscag

You are correct. This is currently not possible with Virtualbox.
