File Sharing

I have a MacBook Pro and a iMac connected to a wireless network, i am trying to share a folder on my MBP and view it on the iMac but I am having trouble figuring it out can any one help?

if you right-click the folder and select Get Info (cmd+i) then there is a little checkbox about halfway that says Shared Folder, but you also need to set permissions in the bottom

also you need to go to System Preferences to the Sharing tab, again tick off File Sharing and you can add shared folders from there

(btw, the Sharing option under Get Info might not be available unless you have File Sharing Enabled in the system preferences)

since you have 2 Macs, you should then be able to see them in Finder in the left panel under Devices)
