I have an iMac osX which I recently put an new hard drive in. Before i did this i could open iTunes (8.0) without problems but now i can't and an error message appears saying;
'the folder "iTunes" is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder."
What do I do?

Note: Im not the administrator of the computer but I have all the necessary passwords needed.

Thanks in advance.

try holding the option button when you click to open itunes. It will then ask you which library to open in so choose the itunes library in your saved location and go from there.
