The Airport Express unit is not the greatest when it comes to power and range. I tried one out here in my home and wound up taking it back for a refund. I decided my D-Link router gave me better signal strength and was more versatile. As for the Belkin USB dongle, I've never used one but am using a similar one from Netgear on an older Windows machine which seems to work well.

As for the keyboard, you'll just have to do trial and error with the F keys to see which ones you can get to correspond to an Apple keyboard. A portable Windows keyboard will work better since it usually has an Fn key which when pressed can activate functions like the CD\DVD eject. The best however, is the $49.00 Apple aluminum wired keyboard.

Regards.
