I have an older iMac that does not have airport. I bought a USB bluetooth adapter for it but now I am having trouble getting my cell phone to pair with it. It almost worked once and hasn't gotten close to that since. I've tried to trouble shoot it and am stumped-Help!:(

Tell us more if you will. What brand and model is the Cell Phone? What iMac is this and what version of OSX is installed?

Also what is the brand and model of the USB Bluetooth adapter?

My bad-
my Mac's a 1.6GHz PowerPC G5 with 1GB DDR SDRAM. I'm Running 10.4.11
My phone is a Sanyo SCP-8400 This same phone worked just fine on my even older macbook but it also had airport.
I'm not sure what the brand is on the bluetooth dongle
