External Display (21") work with my MB?

MacBook 2.1 Ghz 4GB RAM 120GB HDD, iPod Touch 16GB, iPod Shuffle 1GB, BB 8130
I have a 2.1ghz, 1GB RAM MB. If I hook it up to a 21" display and watch a movie, will it lag at all? Should I upgrade to 4GB of RAM first?

Nope, shouldn't lag at all. Back when my 2.0Ghz Macbook only had 1 gig I had no problems playing movies, whether they be DVDs or .avi or .mpeg or whatever. External screen or built-in.

Doesn't hurt to upgrade the RAM, but is not necessary.
