Hello,

I'm looking to purchase VMware Fusion 2 and Windows XP to run on my intel macbook. I've seen the savings with using OEM software packs rather than retail. Has anybody had any issues with installing these packs, and is the registration process different ?

No and no. The OEM system builder versions (which I have installed personally with Fusion btw) work and install just fine. Registration is also the same. The license terms differ - you can't move it to another machine, for example - from the full retail version, hence the lower cost. And they come with no documentation. But other than that, it's exactly the same.
