External HD and USB hubs

I have a GRaid2 extrenal hard drive and want to connect to to my Imac. What cable do I use? Also can I hook a USB hub to enable mutiple devices? If so is this hub connected to the GRaid or to the Imac?

Depends on what cable the external drive has available, if it's usb, the you can't use say e-sata .... at least Macs don't have the hybrid port yet

and yes, usb does support "branching" so u can connect multiple devices to one usb slot through a hub (unlike firewire) ... u should connect this hub to the mac side and then the devices into the hub, there actually isn't a different way to plug it mechanically
