to record my playing without ext.mic.

Hallo, does anybody know which are the most adequate settings to make a live recording of my pianoplaying(classical,grand piano) directly through the built-in microphones of my macbook 13,3'? I always seem to get a rather metallic sound with rather abrupt endings...

Don't expect to get a good recorded sound through the built-in mic, unfortunately it's nowhere near the quality that you'd want to record a piano.

Yeah, get a microphone and one of these.
