need to set up one of my two laptops to recieve files temporarily. i have the software for the windows one, but that laptop might be shipping out soon.

so i might need to plant my mac on desk for a couple days for the other party to log into.


how do i set up an ftp delio where a guy can upload to a designated spot on my mac?

Looking at your Mac's spec I'll assume you are using Tiger

Go to System Preferences > Sharing and switch on FTP access from the Services tab

If another user connects to the mac using your Mac username and password they will be able to see your entire home folder.

To create other login Users with more restricted access check out PureFTP
