Connect my G5 to my MacBook Pro laptop

Hi everyone, a Very Happy New Year to all!! :D

I am having some difficulty being able to see my G5 from my laptop. I have Airport wireless set up but, not being that technically minded, and having exhausted my energy trying to go through the help menu, I am calling out to the experts out there for assistance. :) What I would like principally is for my laptop to see the G5 so that I can access files via the network. HELP!!!:Confused:

Same thing

I'm looking to do the same thing.
OSX is running the same on my macbook as the g5 - 10.5 w/ latest update...
